So you think your Scentsy Business is in the toilet? (Think again!)
It’s time to get serious and remedy your situation. And how are we going to do that? With some Scentsy Business Training of course!
Spoiler alert: If you are viewing the challenge as too large and feeling overwhelmed… You are not the first person to have felt this way and you will not be the last.
First of all, remember the actions that you took to build your Scentsy business? Like those, taking the action to rescue your Scentsy business is simple, it’s just not not easy. My Dad (a huge influence in not only my life, but my entrepreneurial journey) always says: “if it were easy mate, everybody would be doing it!”
Just how simple are we talking here? Read this short Scentsy Business Training and find out for yourself…
Look At Past Achievements:
Let’s think back through your life for a moment. Can you remember other tasks that you initially felt were beyond you? I’m willing to bet that they are second nature now, right? Riding a bike, driving a car, taking care of a baby? With persistence, and practice you got there – now it’s not just simple, but easy too!
You can absolutely apply this same concept here. Yes, like everything of significance it does take knowledge, skills and understanding. (Committing to Scentsy Business Training & Development is a fabulous start by the way!)
It’s Time To Change:
Now here’s the part that may niggle you a little. You could feel irritated, offended even. You could brush off the advice. Start to tell yourself that I have no idea about who you are, or what is going on in your life. Hear me out on this one though, OK?
This next part we will cover in this Scentsy Business Training might change your life. It will certainly change your Scentsy business.
This All Comes Down To You:
It doesn’t matter if you decided to join Scentsy as a hobby, you decided to join Scentsy to take it to the top, or anywhere in between. The same concept applies.
No one can want this for you, and no one can do this for you.
Yep, it burns. Trust me when I say I know how much this concept stings our ego. It would be so much more convenient if this was someone else’s fault now wouldn’t it?
This is your moment to stop duck shoving the blame and at the risk of sounding glib – take a long hard look at yourself.
Permission To Fail:
The biggest catalyst for destruction in any direct sales business, is a concept I like to call “permission to fail”. The instant that you shift the responsibility for your circumstances to an external force, you rob yourself of your power to change for the better.
Scary huh? In a nutshell (and I apologise if this seems to cross the tough-love barrier), Scentsy is not failing you; you are failing Scentsy.
There is a silver lining here, I promise.
Here is your chance to stop giving yourself permission to fail. This is where you take back that ownership. It’s your opportunity to realise that there is no perfect time, and no perfect journey. What if you were to stop waiting for everything to fall into place for you before you decided to take charge and rescue your Scentsy business yourself?
Make Moves – Not Excuses:
We all have the same resources at our fingertips. Put the Independent into Independent Scentsy Consultant and grab them with both hands!
Make moves, not excuses, and take charge!
Your Scentsy Sponsor wants to see you succeed. Your Scentsy Team wants to see you thrive, and your Director doubly so! Remember that you are not alone in this journey. Engage, plug in and feel the Scentsy Spirit, I can assure you that it’s out there in spades.
Think About What Before Why:
When we initially join Scentsy we are encouraged to think about our “Scentsy Why”. It’s a great strategy, until it isn’t. Now I want you to think back to what you wanted when you joined Scentsy.
Really envisage exactly what you were setting out to achieve. Make that dream as wild and as crazy and as over the top as you want. When you have it in your mind’s eye- ask yourself this: “is it coming to me, or am I going to go and get it?”
Even more powerfully, think about what happens if you don’t.
Only you can decide.
